PRETTY IN PEPLUM!

Now ladies, we all know we come in different shapes and sizes and what looks good on one type of body frame sometimes doesn't look as good on another; speaking from numerous experiences! However, sigh no more darlings because there definitely is a wardrobe-must-have that flatters every body shape and creates great silhouettes for our gorgeous female frames. It goes by the name, 'peplum'! The added flared pleats or ruffles is attached to the waistlines of dresses, blazers, jackets, blouses and pencil skirts and makes any outfit look sophisticated yet very flirty! Depending on your mood you can wear very subtle, soft flares around the waist or bigger more dramatic flares if your feeling a bit daring! With the right tailoring peplum could easily be your new favourite wardrobe piece as it instantly adds drama and glamour to any look.

FASHIONISTO! (6) - THEOPHILIS LONDON

Clean-cut tailoring, crisp, yellow button up, rusty-red belt, shiny brogues - it just works!

Now, this is the genius man that is responsible for feel-good tracks that include Theophilis London ft Solange Knowles - Flying Overseas and Theophilis London - I Stand Alone . With his brimmed hats, fitted skinnies, courdoroys, button up shirts, classic frames, fancy shoes and colourful get-ups, his style is a modern interpretation of vintage and new school fashion! His hipster-ish ways are translated in his exciting music as well which is a blend of hip-hop, indie-rock, electronica and disco. When I first heard of Theophilis London, I was very skeptical about his direction, musically as well as in the fashion department, but the more you listen and look at him you begin to make sense of him as a character!

"My personal style is edgy, a little raw, and not just high-end. I get a lot of stuff from the thrift store and Goodwill. I like to wear a lot of one-tone color outfits—same color trousers, same color shirt. Or have a contrast. People seem to like it and kind of look at me as this fashion icon but I never look at myself like that." - very modest statement there Mr London.

Orange, suede jacket, textured grey pants and a turtle neck- the green brim adds a great colour contrast
95% new school, 5 %vintage - the hat!
Blue on blue on blue on even more blue - done so well!

Two-tone jacket, fitted off-white pants, maroon button-up, blue hat and man-bag!
Statement velvet blazer and a gold broche- nice accessory!
Mustard chinos, patterned, sky blue button-up, whte kicks - quite experiemental!

One of my fave fashionista's Solange Knowles kickin it with Mr London!
